Reading and making in the Commons!

As a teacher I have always loved using a hook to create excitement,  and move production in the classroom.  As a teacher librarian my students in my reading buddies K-3 online class ask for extension activities.

This term we have shared lots of picture books, had scintillating, philosophical discussions after reading books like Frederick by Leo Leonni, and had fun researching animals using Pebble Go database!  The getting geeky characteristic  with Pebble Go is you can print off your production, or share as a URL straight from your iPad!

Reading Buddies students share their joy in creation after reading a great picture book like Don’t Spill the Milk by Stephen Davies! Here are a few samples of artistic creation!

Caileigh shares her watercolour below.

Thanks for sharing reading buddies!! You are great content creators, artists and readers!  I am going to miss ALL of  you:)

PS!  All of mentioned picture books may be loaned from our growing E Library!

Blessings
