Lunch n Learn Webinars 2016

We are kicking off with three lunch n learn webinars in January.  Come and join our team as we explore Google docs,  essential research skills, and how to use the learning commons.

Google Docs- Kathy Kanda (Google teacher)

Kathy will share how to use Google docs, including the basics of Google Drive, sharing files and folders, forms, and if time permits some extensions on Google Chrome.

How to Access L4U and Overdrive – Shandra Wiebe (Learning Commons)

Shandra will help you explore L4U, show you how to search for and book items, including unit studies. She will also show you how to access Overdrive E-books.

Research Skills Workshop– Pippa Davies (Learning commons)

Pippa will teach high school students how to research using web tools, and how to create a digital footprint.

Who may attend:  Students in grades 8-12, parents, staff
