Canadian Geography Kit

This is unit is designed for children in grade three. The unit is written to be completed over a six­ week period, but, if you so choose, could be condensed into five weeks. This unit is designed to give your child a solid, basic knowledge of the geography of Canada and of each individual Province.This unit also includes an opportunity for your child to begin conducting basic research and writing factual paragraphs. This unit also includes several crafts and art projects. I recommend looking ahead each week to see what supplies you may need.

This engaging unit features a variety of excellent digital and physical resources. This guide contains clickable links that will take you to videos, games, pictures, art projects, activities and printable pages for your child to complete. Prior to beginning the unit I highly recommend reading the detailed day plans for five days at a time so that you have the opportunity to print off any needed materials.
