Virtual 3D Printing Service-Based Learning Camp
April 18 @ 10:00 am - May 16 @ 11:00 am| $60
Have you ever wanted to design something to improve someone else’s life? This is your chance!
In this virtual learning camp, students will create 3D printed objects with the purpose of serving others, as followers of Christ (as he commanded in Luke 3:10-11).
3D printing is an emerging tool to create and prototype designs. Students will learn to use TinkerCad to create objects, have them 3D printed and then mailed to them. This class will focus on the design process and prototyping with technology.
Students will attend three group classes on the selected Thursdays and then one individual virtual meeting with the instructor to provide formative feedback on each student’s project. Experience with Tinkercad is an asset but not a pre-requisite.
