Log in to Curio.ca.  Search under Resources for “Career Education K to 5”.

Curio.ca offers the audio and video content from CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) and Radio-Canada for unique Canadian content.  (K-12, but mostly high school content)  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to Discovery Education Streaming (Canada) and search for career education topics.  There will be topics such as:  Education, Engineering, Environmental Occupations, Financial, Health, Human Services, Workplace Skills, Marketing and Sales, Mechanics, Media and Arts, Personal and Building Services, Production Occupations, Professional Specialty Occupations, Scientific Occupations, Technical and Related Occupations, Technology, and Transportation and Material Moving Occupations.

Log in to Explora Primary.

EBSCOhost’s Explora is a site to encourage student research with extensive, reliable content and ease of use.  (K-12 content)  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to EverFi to find Vault  (Grades 4-6) to learn building financial skills at a young age.

EverFi produces digital courses, such as: financial literacy, STEM, diversity and inclusion, student loan management, digital citizenship, civic awareness, entrepreneurial thinking, alcohol and substance abuse, and sexual assault prevention.  (Gr. 1-12)  Look for a full description (and a list of all courses available) under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Start a blog with our Kidblog subscription (for K-8) and learn how to create community online in a safe scaffolded environment.  Log in to Kidblog.

Kidblog is a secure, private blogging platform created specifically for educational use.  (Gr. K-7+)  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to KnowBC and search by going to an encyclopedia or book and searching it.

KnowBC is the leading general reference site for British Columbia, including such resources as the Encyclopedia of British Columbia and other reference works.  (Gr. K-12)  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

First log in to Learn360  before you choose a topic or “click” on a link. Once in Learn360 select a topic such as Careers & Job Search, Guidance & Counseling or Technical & Vocational Education, then filter for the appropriate grade range.

Learn360 is a media-on-demand service or digital video library for Gr. K-12, with digital, audio and other support materials.  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to Passport to the Internet.

Passport to the Internet is an interactive tutorial to teach Gr. 4 to 8 students the critical thinking skills they need to apply to their online experiences.  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to PebbleGo Next. Look under “The Field of Science” to find information about Jobs in Science or Science and Engineering Practices.

PebbleGo is a research site for students in Gr. K-3 (Animals, Science, Social Studies and Dinosaurs), while PebbleGo Next is a Science research site for Gr. 3-6, both of which have read-along audio.  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to RightNow Media, then search the Torchlighters series for leadership, and Leo Trend or Friend for different themed topics around careers, work and friendship.

RightNow Media is like the ‘Netflix’ of Christian Bible studies and has something for every age!  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to World Book and choose World Book Student (Gr. 5-8) or World Book Kids (Gr. K-5).

World Book is our online encyclopedia with research sites for all ages from K to 12.  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.
