Log in to Curio.ca and search for Career Education.

Curio.ca offers the audio and video content from CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) and Radio-Canada for unique Canadian content.  (K-12, but mostly high school content)  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to  Discovery Education Canada.  Students can can then choose from topics such as: Education, Engineering, Environmental Occupations, Financial, Health, Human Services, Workplace Skills, Marketing and Sales, Media and Arts, Personal and Building Services, Production Occupations, Professional Specialty Occupations, Scientific Occupations, Technical and Related Occupations, Technology, and Transportation and Material Moving Occupations.

Discovery Education Streaming Plus offers students award-winning digital or multimedia content.  (K-12 content)  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

To search in Explora High School, log in to Explora Secondary.

EBSCOhost’s Explora is a site to encourage student research with extensive, reliable content and ease of use.  (K-12 content)  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to EVERFI for courses such as: Ignition (using technology safely – Gr. 6-9); Demo video;  Venture – Entrepreneurial Expedition (important basic business skills – Gr. 7-10) Demo video.

EverFI produces digital courses, such as: financial literacy, STEM, diversity and inclusion, student loan management, digital citizenship, civic awareness, entrepreneurial thinking, alcohol and substance abuse, and sexual assault prevention.  (Gr. 4-12)  Look for a full description (and a list of all courses available) under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to GALE CENGAGE Learning and GALE Databases:  (Grades 8-12)  Students will find “Canada in Context”, “Global Issues in Context”, “Gale Virtual Reference Library”, “Science in Context” and “Global Reference on the Environment, Energy and Natural Resources”.

Sign up for a Kidblog account to present your portfolio digitally, and develop a personal learning network in a safe, moderated environment.

Kidblog is a secure, private blogging platform created specifically for educational use.  (Gr. K-7+)  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to Learn360 to look for information about Careers & Job Search or Guidance & Counseling.  In Learn360, students can find videos on ‘Goals’, ‘self assessment’, ‘projects’, ‘personal networking’ and many more.

Learn360 is a media-on-demand service or digital video library for Gr. K-12, with digital, audio and other support materials.  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to RightNow Media and search for topics such as youth, leadership, and for various themed topics around careers, work and friendship.

RightNow Media is like the ‘Netflix’ of Christian Bible studies and has something for every age!  Look for a full description under “Subscriptions” in the main menu above.

Log in to World Book and choose World Book Advanced (Gr. 8-12).
