“I need to do a novel study for English…”

There are so many great reads, but at times, families say they do not know where to start. In the K-Gr.9 Resource Index, under each grade (Gr.4-9) on the English Language Arts page, we have a wonderful recommendation list of novels and novel studies that are fit for that Grade. Hover over the “Resource” tab on the Learning Commons site navigation bar. Select “K-9 Resource Index” from the dropdown menu.

Click on the grade you are working with and your grade menu will open in a new tab. Near the top of the page, you will find a menu will all of the major subjects. Click on each subject to see library resources available that meet the specified grade and subject. In the case of novel studies, click on English Language Arts.

On the English Language Arts page, click on the Novel Study Recommendations tab to access the list.
