Thanksgiving & Giving Thanks

1 Thessalonians 5:18 – Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

We are so blessed to celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada this coming weekend! I am thankful for this Homeschool Comunity. What are you thankful for today?

Here are some fun activities, crafts, and recipes to help us celebrate Thanksgiving & Giving Thanks:

Thanksgiving Table Craft: Turkey Trivia Cards – A fun game to play around the table, who knows the history of the traditional Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner?

I’m Thankful From A-Z – Can you name something that you are thankful for using every letter of the alphabet?

12 HILARIOUS THANKSGIVING GAMES EVERYONE WILL LOVE – Minute to Win it style games to play on your own or with a group!

“The BEST”-A Thanksgiving Game – Group game to get people interacting in silly ways that make you think outside of the box.

Thanks-Giving Placemats – Have everyone look through old magazines or print pictures of things that they are thankful for. On a large sheet of cardstock, paper or cardboard write “I am thankful for” then create collages of all the things they’re thankful for around it.  Wrapping/covering these placemats in plastic wrap or place them under a clear tablecloth before dinner will help your creations make it through the meal.

Thanksgiving Activities For Teens – Sometimes it can be hard to get teens to join into silly games. Here are some games that families with teens found fun.

Thanksgiving Cooking Activities & Recipes for Kids & Teens – Try your hand at some of these Thanksgiving treats, as a family or for your teens as a project on their own.

I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. God bless you!
