While you may not have been planning a trip huge trip abroad, you might feel like it would be fun to get out on a trip or vacation. To help with your travel bug, or just to indulge in some in-home travelling, we have curated a list of virtual field trips and tours that we hope will catch the interest and imagination of all ages.

The HCS Learning Commons’ curated list of external free resources is available to all families. These resources include the new Virtual Field Trip lists at the very bottom, as well as resources on many topics from ADST (Applied Designs, Skills and Technology) to Social Studies, for Kindergarten through Grade 12.

To find this page from the main menu of our Learning Commons, choose the ‘Resources’ tab and click on ‘Curriculum Options’ in the drop-down menu. 

Once you are on that page you will see a list of buttons on the right that direct you to various resource options, including the ‘External Free Resources’ list. On this page, you can choose between grade ranges (Kindergarten-Grade 5 at the top, Grade 6-Grade 9 in the middle and Grade 10-Grade 12 at the bottom) and topics to find resources that fit your interests or needs.  At the bottom of the list, you will find the Virtual Field Trips & Tours link.

Virtual Fieldtrips and tours are also available through many of the subscriptions offered in the HCS Learning Commons.
